A round metal locket painted black. The ends are more narrow than the rest of the locket. There is a bale at the top for attachment to a chain. Inside is a photograph of a young man (Egerton Sayers) in a military uniform covered with a celluloid film. The inside is painted a flat black. The paint in the centre is very worn. |

History |
Egerton Sayers was brother-in-law to Annie and uncle to Geoffrey, Dora and Barbara Sayers. Locket is most believed to have been kept by his mother Kate Sayers and later passed down to the Sayers children. |
