"THE CREDITS is Heritage Mississauga’s annual event, which honours members of the Mississauga community for their contributions and achievements with a celebration of our community heritage." On November 21st, 2013 Hazel McCallion was honoured with the first "Modern Heritage Award". This award was presented to celebrate her accomplishments and her dedication to building Mississauga into a world class city. The award was designed by Kelly Lowe, Living Arts Centre Resident Artist.
