The donor, Barbara Larson, remembered vividly playing with this cannon as a child and said it shot marbles. She also recalls how dangerous it was! It originally belonged to her brother, Geoffrey. It was created by the Young America Toy Company and dates to 1907. In the early 19th century, most of Young America's toys were manufactured in Germany. |
