History |
A portrait of Mary Harris (1859-1954) and her daughter Annie (1882-1986). Mary Magrath married Arthur Harris of Benares in 1881. They had three daughters, Annie (1882-1986), Naomi (1883-1968) and Margaret who lived only a few hours after her birth in 1887. John Fraser Bryce (1852-1920) was a Toronto photographer active between 1877 and 1909. He owned and managed two studios: Bryce Studios Co. and The Carbon Studio and was known for his carbon prints of high-society clientele."
