Framed colour photographic print of Annie L. Sayers with her daughters, Dora and Barbara. The three ladies are believed to be inside either the drawing or sitting room of Benares Historic House. Annie is seen seated and she is wearing a blue button-down, long-sleeved dress; there is a beaded necklace that is hanging from her neck. Standing behind her is Dora, who is wearing a lavender dress that has a loose turtleneck collar. Barbara is standing next to Dora and she is wearing a white button-down shirt with a coral green coloured suit jacket and matching skirt. The print is encased in a thin wooden frame underneath a thin piece of glass. |
History |
Photograph is of Annie L. Sayers with her daughters Dora and Barbara. Photograph taken inside the drawing or sitting room at Benares when Annie was 99 years old. During this time Annie's son Geoffrey Sayers lived at Benares. The home was already donated to Ontario Heritage Foundation and Geoffrey served as caretaker of the home. Annie lived to be 104 years old. |
