History |
Photograph of Egerton Sayers most likely taken before returning to the Front in April of 1917. He was wounded by shrapnel in the arm during the Battle of the Somme and was recovered in hospital; he was later granted a leave of absence and returned to Canada in February of 1917 staying in Clarkson for two months. He would return to the Front in April of 1917. |
