The photograph is of a Sunday School Picnic in Lorne Park that the Graydon family may have attended. John Graydon was a member and trustee of the Methodist Church (now United Church) in Streetsville and Sunday School Superintendent for 40 years. "Nineteenth-century Protestant Sunday schools offered early Ontarians charity, literacy education, and religious instruction.
