History |
This book provides details on the history of the St. Peter's Anglican Church including ten images, lists of memorials and gifts and incumbents. The original St. Peter's Church was built in 1826 and demolished in 1887 to make way for a stone structure. The tower and spire of the present church were added in 1910 and the Church Hall in 1936. The stonework was restored and the spire covered in copper in 1949. 1958-1959 a new Sunday School was completed that was dedicated on January 20th, 1960.
