Pinchin, J.H.

Bio

James Herbert Pinchin (1885-1964) was a local politician and former owner of Riviere farm, Streetsville. Born in Mimico he lived for many years in Clarkson before purchasing a farm and home in 1930 located on Streetsville (now Mississauga Road). Herb served as a member of School Board Section No. 5, Clarkson and served in various capacities in the local township such as Township assessor, councillor, Deputy and Reeve. He later was appointed clerk and served until his retirement in 1954. .
