A glossy, coloured paper booklet. The top 1/3rd of the cover is red and the bottom 2/3rd is white. The booklet is printed in blue ink and features black and white photographs inside. The bottom 2/3rd of the cover also includes colour photographs of places around Mississauga. From left to right, these are a garden, a street with a street lamp, possibly in Streetsville, City of Mississauga Municipal offices, Port Credit boat dock with boats in the background, UTM Davis/South Building, a red and white barn and the Adamson Estate. The booklet includes history, financial information, services and information on various departments. The 1976 information booklet was prepared by the Public Affairs Department of the City of Mississauga to provide general information regarding the City of Mississauga and its municipal government. At the time the City of Mississauga was only two years old and was growing in terms of planned business and residential development. |
